Priscilla A. Ambrose



Priscilla Ambrose (b. 1946) was the youngest participant of the fourth edition of the Wieniawski Competition. She started playing the violin with her mother at the age of four. As a teenager, she played Prokofiev's Concerto with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. William Troll, whose composition 'Banjo and Fiddle' she performed in the competition was one of Priscilla's educators. She died a few years after the Wieniawski Competition.
