Evgeny Bushkov



When the eighteen-year-old Evgeny Bushkov (b. 1968), the greatest individuality of the 9th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition (1986), came to Poznań, he was still as a student in Valery Klomov's class of Moscow Conservatory's Secondary School of Music. Earlier, he took tuition from such virtuosos as Leonid Kogan or Viktor Tretyakov. Graduate of Moscow Conservatory, he tours and makes recordings the world over. Recently he has performed as conductor. Lives in Texas.
