A Deeper Experience of Music
We know you crave events to stir your emotions and let you experience music on multiple levels. We want to become a source of such experiences for you, and this is what our new visual identity designed by the renowned TOFU Studio is meant to reflect.
The new graphic identity was inspired by the musical notation. The elliptical shape derives directly from this of the note, while the horizontal lines constitute a reference to the staff. Our new logo focuses on metaphorical representation of space.
"It is a space both for music itself, and for the individually experienced emotions associated with it. Depth lies in what is profoundly subjective and directly experienced by the listener," says Anna Holik, Artistic Director of TOFU Studio.
"The new visual identity will enhance the image of the Wieniawski Society not only as an entity to promote its patron, but also an institution that in its own right operates in numerous fields to build a true 'society,' a community engaging musicians and music lovers regardless of their age or place of residence," says Karolina Kaźmierczak, Director of the Wieniawski Society.
The syllable-separated name of the association creates a rhythmic composition. "Owing to its responsive and dynamic structure, adjustment of spacing between the two key elements of the sign symbolically creates space for multidimensionality of music. Furthermore, this form of the logo makes it possible for the varied activity of the Wieniawski Society to be conveyed," adds Matylda Awdziejczyk, graphic designer at TOFU Studio.
Ahead of us is the work on a new website and, naturally, events that will open you up to a deeper experience of music!
We invite you to the 15th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Making Competition (May 9–16), the Sleeplessness Festival (May 19–24), and the 11th National Zdzisław Jahnke Violin Competition in November this year.
