Participants of the 17th Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition
Results of Stage 2 of the Preselection
From 13 to 17 May 2026, the Preselection Jury – consisting of Bartłomiej Nizioł (Chairman), Alena Baeva, and Agata Szymczewska – qualified 49 violinists for the 17th Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition.
The group of participants will also include Zofia Anna Olesik, winner of the 1st Prize at the 11th Zdzisław Jahnke National Violin Competition 2025, who received direct qualification.
The auditions will take place from 8 to 25 October 2026 at the University Auditorium in Poznań, the proud home of the competition since 1952.
